FAQs — NCVT

Questions people actually ask before enrolling.

Straight answers on placement, fees, timing and credentials — from an engineering company that trains, not an institute that lectures.

01 · Career & Placement

Where this training actually leads.

Where will I get a job after this training? +
Most graduates struggle to land a role — not for lack of a degree, but for lack of job-ready technical skill, interview readiness and a clear goal. Automation training closes that gap directly: certified candidates place into manufacturing, machine and process industries as Maintenance, Service, Production and Assembly Engineers, as well as techno-commercial and techno-marketing roles. Every sector needs junior and departmental engineers — automation skill is what gets you considered.
What salary can a fresher expect? +
Salary depends on location, industry, company size and the specific role — not on how you label yourself. Calling yourself a "fresher" doesn't cost you the interview; showing up unprepared does. Across Gujarat's automation sector, freshers with solid interview and interpersonal skills typically start around ₹10,000–₹18,000/month, with certified, specialized roles — PLC programming among them — commanding more.
Will my placement be local or remote? +
NCVT Hr. Consultant matches placement against seven factors: available vacancies, your preferred location, preferred domain and industry, expected wage, how closely your skills and experience fit the role, and your own agreement to the match. Nothing is assigned without your sign-off.
What's the surety of placement after training? +
Our placement commitment is documented, not verbal — a written job agreement covering clear terms, rights and responsibilities on both sides, backed by our placement track record.
02 · Programs & Fees

Timing, cost and how flexible this actually is.

Isn't NCVT's fee higher than other institutes? +
We're not an institute — we're an engineering company that happens to run technical skill development and placement as one committed offering. Pricing reflects that: individual training time, real hardware, and a written placement outcome, not a classroom seat. Compare the outcome, not just the number.
Are installments or EMI available? +
Yes — EMI and installment plans are available; confirm the structure with our administrative office. We also run periodic offers, discounts and package pricing worth checking in on.
I'm a working professional — do I have time for this? +
Short-Term Programs (STPs) are built exactly for this — scoped, time-bound tracks with a clear finish line. Holiday batches and Sunday workshops are also available; confirm current slots with the administrative office.
Is it possible to complete a major program quickly? +
Yes, though we generally recommend giving a program the time it needs, or splitting a large program into shorter modules. Where the goal is clear and time is tight, extended sessions can compress the timeline.
Are programs run in fixed batches? +
No. NCVT doesn't run mass batches — sessions are individual or small-cohort, with pre-approved timing built around live demonstration, hands-on practice and implementation, not a fixed lecture schedule.
Is there a "right time" to start — final year, or after graduation? +
Any time you're ready to invest in the right skills is the right time. Starting in your final year gives you a head start before job pressure sets in; starting after graduation still works, but expectations and time pressure both go up. Sooner is generally better.
03 · Eligibility & Trainers

Who trains you, and what you walk away with.

Do you provide a recognized certificate after training? +
Yes — NCVT issues Program Completion, Program Participation and Work Experience certificates. NCVT is a government-registered private company, and certified programs carry weight for future growth and career progression.
Is the certificate valid internationally? +
Yes. IAO-affiliated and related certifications are internationally recognized, and skills demonstrated on real hardware transfer anywhere. Work Experience certificates issued by NCVT are valid worldwide.
What's the experience level of your trainers? +
Faculty range from strong fresh technical talent to senior engineers, and team leads typically carry around a decade of current industrial practice. Every program is built around demonstration and live hands-on work on hardware, software and networks — not lecture-only delivery.
I have backlogs or ATKT — can I still train? +
Yes. Academic backlogs don't disqualify you from building the right technical skill set. Reach out and we'll help you get moving without delay.
04 · Company & Logistics

The practical stuff — family, paperwork, choices.

My parents want me to find a job first, or try for a government exam. +
Happy to talk it through directly. Our administrative officer can meet with your family in person, with a short walkthrough of the realistic career path — just share a convenient time and address for a house visit.
Do you charge and document GST properly? +
Yes — GST is applied and invoiced per government requirement and can be claimed against those invoices where applicable. We handle accounting and taxation transparently and can help with any related questions.
I want to study or work abroad instead — is local placement still relevant? +
That's entirely your call, and we respect it. Skills, interview readiness and professional groundwork matter wherever you land — those challenges show up eventually no matter the destination. Online programs are available for exactly this kind of flexibility.
05 · Automation in Gujarat

Why this market keeps hiring.

How many companies in Gujarat actually run on automation? +
Virtually all manufacturing in Gujarat runs on electric/control panels, PLC, DCS or PID controllers, motors, drives, VFDs and switchgear. The state hosts 1,000+ system integrators working with Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider, Mitsubishi, Omron and other principal manufacturers, an estimated 15,000 machine manufacturers concentrated in pharma, power, cement and textiles, and 200+ industrial areas and SEZs spread across 40 districts — with over 2 lakh active business bodies across manufacturing, integration, trading and services.
What's the future outlook for automation careers? +
Manufacturing is moving toward automated, data-driven production by default — monitoring, control and data logging built on hardware, software and networked systems aren't optional anymore. Automation sits at the intersection of electrical, power electronics, software, embedded systems and instrumentation, and that intersection keeps expanding rather than shrinking.
